This Southern California native spent her school days in the theater spotlight, taking her to Northwestern University's esteemed theater department, and then back to Los Angeles to pursue a strong career in radio and production. Spanning both the National Public Radio and commercial radio airwaves, Stephanie earned the title of "DJ of the Year" by the LA Music Awards in 1998, and continued to host an independent music radio show at LA's NPR affiliate station fm 89.3 KPCC---during this time she was also working on air at the only other AAA commercial radio station in town, KACD, aka, Channel 103.1.Somehow, she still had the energy to work on other music supervision projects in television and film. She garnered quite a following for her news anchoring position at KPCC, too, but continued to follow the music path, a path which continued to gain momentum with various songwriting awards.
